Eidolon is a pharmaceutical company focusing on nanoware augmentations with secondary revenue streams in classical pharmaceutical (medical vaccines, drug delivery systems, neural sciences as applied to cyberpsychosis, and nano manufacturing consultancy. They do produce their own cyberbrains, ranking near the top of quality and expensiveness. Their main market is on Mars, the asteroid belt, and the moons of Jupiter. Their Earth market position is currently very weak -- few have even heard of them.
The company headquarters are based on Mars, nearly Olympus and the space elevator. They have research facilities in orbit and in the asteroid belt. On Earth, São Paulo in their head quarters but so far, no research facility has been revealed.
The company has around 500 employees, mostly research and technical staff. They have two graduate programs financing PhD level studies. The company is privately owned and sits on the Mars assembly but not on its council. Their profitability has increase between 3% and 12% in the last ten years. Employees do share a reward scheme.

Jean is the founder and directory of Eidolon. He holds a doctorate in medical nanotechnologies. Because of his reputation of being honest and fair in his dealing, he is well liked both within and outside of the company. Jean is a painter and some of his art is displayed in public company spaces.
He tends to favour three piece suits in dark grey or black with decorations in gold, silver, and bronze. Most of his wardrobe is reminiscent of steampunk fashion. His eyes are full implants and he is generally gridlinked. He is known to have several augmentations, the list of which is kept secret apart from his left arm which is fully cybernetic. In keeping with the steampunk look, the arm is fashioned in brass and has a distinct clockwork theme.

Dr Moreau is without a doubt the brain behind most of the new technology that Eidolon puts out. He is a respected academician who retains some ties to the university life although his main focus is his work at Eidolon. He is not known for having a social life and often comes across as aloof and off putting. However, the longer people work with him, the more they tend to like him.

A short carrier in law enforcement led Okoro into the secret services and from there corporate security. During her stay in the secret services, she saved the lives of several syndicate higher ups. They still consider it a favour although she is not amused when reminded of it. She is a cat and dog breed in her spare time.
Generally wears trouser, shirts, and a long coat. No one ever saw her wear a dress. She is know to show up wearing body armour at official functions and has no compulsion carrying weapons: better have a couple and not need them than need them and run out. She prefers revolvers to automatics which is quite unusual.

Lizbeth (as she likes to be called) is a PR master mind. It is rare to not see her at important venues, openings, and galas networking. She has a flare for finding the right stories to leak and the deflecting bad press. She has a fondness for jazz.
She has a large wardrobe and would never be seen wearing the same outfit twice. At some office parties, she has been know to play with the band which generally is a jazz one.

Jacob used to work for the mob. He was one of their accountants and then as it turned out, he send t lot of them to jail. It was one of Mars best undercover operations. For his security, he left the police and joined Eidolon. He and Kamaria have a love/hate relationship. Jacob is known to risk his life for fun in a wide range of extreme sports. He tries (with limited success) to convince other employees to join him.

Aikiko has lived in interesting times. From her youth in a monastery (she was a Buddhist) to the army and now the head of a major corporation. She has contacts everywhere and many people just seem to owe her.
Note that she is the PCs direct boss.
